  • Hotel Manager / Assistant Hotel Manager
    (Penang – Butterworth)
    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of running a hotel. Responsible for pre-opening set up of a 46-room new hotel c/w Theme Park, Gym, Sauna & Jacuzzi facilities in Perai, Penang. Have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, manage the hotel sale & marketing programs. Planning, organizing and directing all hotel services & staff, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, reservations), food and beverage operations, housekeeping, grounds and facilities maintenance, and where applicable, make sure the waterpark is super-fun.
    • Manage annual budgets, analyze financial information, and maintain financial records as well as controlling expenditure.
    • Set and achieve sales and profit targets;
    • Responsible for Hotel room pricing strategy development.
    • Responsible on marketing strategies towards maximize hotel revenues.
    • Social-media savvy and stay current with changes in marketing trends and activities.
    • Recruit, train and monitor staff.
    • Planning work activities, duties and hours for individuals and teams.
    • Observing and monitoring the worker’s performance to make sure that the company rules and regulations are being followed.
    • Ensure safety and security are meeting the statutory regulations.
    • Deal with all enquires or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
    • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times, ensuring guests’ comfort and safety.
    • Assist in keeping the hotel clean and tidy, at all times.
    • Ensure hotel compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
    • Securing corporate bookings for hotel room and conference facilities.
    • Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
    • Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings of the hotel.
    • Work and manage suppliers for any Software/ Hardware conflicts.
    • Hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel.
    • Keep hotel website up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximizing bedroom sales opportunities.
    • Propose and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize room occupancy levels.
    • Manage and maintain effective and efficient use of all reception equipment and hotel systems, in line with company policy.
    • Control and manage all new credit application accounts, sales ledger management and payment administration.
    • Complete all required health and safety/fire checks on time.
    • Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for the team, guests and the emergency services.
    • Take responsibility for extra management tasks, as required.
    • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Minimum Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality management.
    • Must have at least five (5) years related working experience in the same field.
    • Strong creative approach to sales & marketing.
    • Computer and internet literate. Strong people management skill.
    • Significant experience of Micros-Fidelio Suite 8 reservations systems.
    • Good written and spoken communication skills in English. Fluency in second language is an advantage.
    • Friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to all customers, to create a great atmosphere.
    • Calm, patient and polite when handling complaints. Able to think clearly and make quick decisions.
    • Professional “get it done” attitude and high disciplined work habits. Adapts well to and is energized by change.
    • Multinational commercial experience preferred.
    • Prior experience working in Airlines, Technology or Tourism sector a plus.

  • Project Manager
    (Penang – Butterworth)
    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organize, manage, monitor and control from pre-development stage to post-development stage to meet the approved quality, cost and time standards.
    • To effectively liaise with authorities & contractors; to ensure in the implementation of ISO assessment system for all projects.
    • Liaison with consultants and sub-contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
    • To supervise site construction works and monitor progress of work.
    • Responsible for project scheduling, coordination, execution and budgetary control.
    • Participate in reviewing tenders, contracts and other relevant documents.
    • To lead meeting and attend client consultant meeting.
    • To ensure all implementations in compliance to ISO 9001:2000 standards

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil & Structural) or equivalent
    • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese
    • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Property Development industry. Has a strong knowledge on Construction Management.
    • Well versed in architecture, structural, mechanical & electrical works.

  • Project Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaison with local authorities
    • Liaise and coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors pertaining to site work.
    • To supervise site construction works and monitor progress of work.
    • To coordinate for timely delivery of materials and material inventory control.
    • To conduct/participate in site meeting and attend client consultant meeting.
    • Responsible to Project management as assigned.
    • To check design and carry out value engineering.
    • Assist in sourcing for building material.
    • Implementation of ISO 9001:2000

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

    Responsibilities:

    • Able to calculate the cost of construction for projects tendering (Pre-Contract) based on the tender drawings and documents
    • Attend tender interview and assist the management in tender presentation
    • To invite sub-contractors of various traders to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotations accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con
    • Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission, cost estimation, procurement support, monthly progress claim & follow up payment for accounts
    • Knowledge to prepare technical contract and able to read up tender specifications & drawing
    • Knowledge in claims preparation and final claims to the Architects / Client preparation and final payments
    • Familiar with market rates.

  • Account Executive
    (Penang - Butterworth)
    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and supervise the timely and accurate weekly and monthly accounting and ensure timely transmission of financial and management reporting
    • Responsible for A/Cs Receivable or A/Cs payable and day-to-day transaction processing.
    • Be an instrumental member of the Management Team by working with all levels of management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
    • Review and report weekly and monthly analytical reports that enable the group to identify, execute and monitor growth and productivity opportunities, including project investment analyses, project tracking, margin analysis, analysis of performance variances to budget and prior year, and trends within the group
    • Manage cash flow and maximize usage of working capital, ensure proper routines and controls are in place for all expenses and cash processes
    • Liaise with the external auditors and tax agents of the Group and its subsidiaries and associated companies to ensure all statutory deadlines are met including group consolidation, cash flow statements and tax computations
    • Responsible for supporting the business initiatives of Business Units by providing financial insight, analysis and perspective; provide financial guidance and assistance to the business units
    • Responsible for yearly budget preparation and revisions as and when necessary in consultation with various business units and translate these into financial plans and projections, recommending appropriate corrective action as needed
    • To support and assist in liaising and handling needs or queries by phone/emails from clients.

    Requirements:

    • In charge of document faxing and ensuring receipt
    • Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) in compliance with company’s procedures
    • Prepare courier document and liaison with courier agencies for collection and dispatch

    Requirements:
